Building community in the heart of the city

A Vancouver Chinatown Foundation Initiative

Committed to creating a home where residents can thrive in community, Bob & Michael’s Place aspires to be a model for the future of social housing in Canada.

Bob & Michael’s Place provides 231 new independent living homes alongside Lily’s Community Health Centre, an integrated health facility operated by Vancouver Coastal Health that will serve the entire neighbourhood.

Bob & Michael’s Place is a response to one of our neighbourhood’s greatest needs—affordable community housing.

Bob and Michael have been catalysts in both Vancouver’s real estate industry and philanthropic community. United by a profound commitment to community stewardship, their vision is to build thriving communities and positively impact the lives of those in need.

About Bob Lee & Michael Audain

"Bob & Michael's Place was built with the vision of uplifting our community, by developing infrastructure around the needs of those who live and work in this neighbourhood. It took a whole community of volunteers, donors and supporters—people who truly care—to realize our vision. We believe this will be the gold standard of social housing we call 'community housing'."
